Ms. McCall focuses her practice on workers’ compensation, labor and employment, and civil liability defense litigation, representing employers and carriers in all phases of litigation, including the complex arenas of unemployment and retaliatory discharge. During her 29-year career, Ms. McCall has litigated cases throughout the state of Florida, including presentation of argument to the Florida First District Court of Appeal which played an integral role in the evolution of law and precedent statewide, as well as garnering her a nomination to serve as a workers’ compensation Judge.
Ms. McCall has received an “AV” top rating by Martindale-Hubble, one of the most recognized and respected arbiters of legal qualification and skill, and she has lectured on topics including labor/employment law and wrongful termination.
Ms. McCall is actively involved with the Florida Bar where she has served as the Chairperson of the Florida Bar Midyear Committee and Vice-Chairperson of the Florida Bar Annual Committee. She is currently a member of the Ethics and Workers’ Compensation committees, and Palm Beach County Bar Association. She was the former editor of the prestigious News & 440 Report. Furthermore, she is the honored recipient of the Florida Bar Workers’ Compensation outstanding service award and has been recognized as one of the top 100 lawyers in the state.
Prior to joining Wyland & Tadros, Ms. McCall was the managing partner of one of Florida’s oldest and largest defense law firms. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986 following graduation from the University of Florida College of Law where she was a member of the moot court team and the Florida Blue Key student honor and service society. Ms. McCall is admitted to practice in all Florida Courts and is a passionate supporter of charitable organizations, having served as the Chairperson of several.
